Smartstop Self Storage is very user-friendly. Just a heads-up: there is only a 45-second window to enter through the main gate, so make sure your car is properly positioned before you pull in. Also, there are only three parking spots inside, so check if any are available before driving in.
Finding your specific unit might take a little time, but it’s not too difficult. They do provide pushcarts for convenience. One thing to note is the locking mechanism: you have to remove the entire lock from the latch and slide the bar aside to open the door. To lock it, you need to slide the bar back and re-insert the lock. It was my first time using this type of lock, though perhaps others are already familiar with it.
A 10x10 unit holds quite a lot, but do keep in mind there is a height limit (you can see it in my photos). Overall, it’s very convenient, and I highly recommend renting here. Plus, they offer a great introductory rate—my first month was just a little over $100 CAD.

Amazing customer service provided by Kat. She helped us multiple types throughout the couple of days we came to the building. Answered all of our questions and showed us multiple units to see what worked best for us. She even advised on a deal that was better than our previous reservation. Great service!

As a first time user of a storage facility, I have to say I was super impressed! Kat and Kimberly took care of all my questions, they kindly showed me the unit sizes and went over all of the details of renting. They made sure I knew how to access my unit including testing the door code before I left! I highly recommend SmartStop, Kat and Kimberly surpassed my customer service expectations :) thanks ladies!
